Live Lounge - mylittlebrother

22/02/2017 07:30 PM - 22/02/2017 11:00 PM

We are super excited to announce that mylittlebrother will be kicking off the 1st of the Whitaker Live Lounge sessions from 7.30pm on Wednesday 22nd February, brought to you in association with Paul Scott-Bates and  .

Formed in Carlisle when a group of people met and drank gin, mylittlebrother have been described as “capturing the spirit of the 60s” by none other than Laurie Beebe Lewis former vocalist with The Mamas And The Papas.

Paul Scott-Bates writes in 'Louder than War'

"Front man Will Harris already has impressive name checks on his CV – including working with The Charlatans and Teenage Fan Club – but it’s as mylittlebrother that success is undoubtedly just round the corner. Their debut album launch at The Geltsdale Brewery in Brampton was so well attended that people had to overspill onto the car-park. Their songs are perfectly arranged and produced, words are beautifully written and instruments are expertly played."

After 3 successful EPs, and a debut album released to rave reviews, mylittlebrother are using 2016/17 to play more gigs to hone their live sound. They are writing and recording new material, with their 2nd album soon to be launched.

They have been featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, Channel 4, E4, BBC 1, Radio Caroline, Radio Kaos Caribou, The Official Mercedes Benz Culture Blog and many many more.
