Dining at the Whitaker

Here at the Whitaker we pride ourselves on using local suppliers to deliver the best ingredients we can find and then treating them as carefully and respectfully as possible. Ensuring our customers have a culinary experience they remember and want to enjoy again and again.  

Excitingly, this spring we have taken a fresh and informal approach to our menu, designed to allow you to make the most of the longer days and warm nights. Still always delivering the same 5 star standard of dishes that you have come to expect from Head Chef Phil Sandham and his team but without the formality of a fine dine experience, allowing friends, families and the whole community to enjoy our food from lunchtime in to the early evening. 

You will see the offering of our favourite Sliders extended, as well as exciting new lighter bites and sharing board choices; all of which lend themselves to a more relaxed dining approach that’s in keeping with the Museums aims and goals for the future. 

As an added food experience you can now enjoy an Afternoon Tea service offered from 2pm Wednesday to Saturday, for a minimum of 2 people with 24 hour prior booking essential.

Rest assured that whenever you choose to visit, our staff are on hand if you have any special dietary requirements and to make your dining experinece with us big or small, the best it can be.
