Chandelier of Illuminated Objects
The Chandelier of Illuminated Objects is a sculptural installation made in response to the unique collection of objects held in the collection at the The Whitaker.
Made in tandem with Extraordinary Mundane, a stop-frame animated film by Lucy Bergman, together they form a bespoke installation in The Old Stables at The Whitaker.
Noah Rose designed and made the chandelier as part of his residency at The Whitaker in Autumn 2022. As part of that process, Noah and Lucy spent time in The Whitaker’s archive, exploring the collection and selecting objects suitable for both the Chandelier and film, which developed side by side, and which are intended to be seen together.
