Film Night - Hidden Figures

Hidden Figures

Set in the early 60's, Hidden Figures tells the story of a team of female African-American mathematicians who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. This inspiring and unashamedly feel good biopic gloriously celebrates these truly overlooked black women who made crucial contributions to the programme. A heart warming film about brilliance but not about ego.

There is something to be said for a well told tale with a clear moral and satisfying emotional payoff
