Rossendale Art Trail

Rossendale Art Trail

Starting from the weekend of 7th October, the Rossendale Art Trail is a unique annual event were artists in the local area open up their studios to the public.

The Art Trail is a great opportunity for people to support and enjoy the artistic talent we have here in the Valley.

It’s large enough to include a wide range of artists but small enough for you to explore every single one over the course of the weekend if you wish.
— Organiser Bob Firth (Joint Artistic Director, The BOO)

This year the Whitaker are delighted to showcase the works in an ongoing exhibition from a group of extremely talented and well respected local Artists. We have currently confirmed the following, with more being confirmed every week:

Liam Spencer

Best known for his painting and ink drawings of urban landscapes of Manchester and the North West of England.

Alan Birch

Predominantly working in print, but has worked with a variety of other media including drawing, metal and  digital images. His work is imbued with his own unique sense of humour, offering a  personal view on the contemporary world.

Jill Randell

Known for her sculpture and installations, exhibiting her work nationally and internationally in galleries, museums and sculpture parks.

Dave Pearson (1937 – 2008)
