HarFest 2017

Harfest 2017

Incredible Edible are back with HARFEST at The Whitaker Museum.

For those of you who don't know, It's a huge community event and a great opportunity to meet up with family and friends, bring the dog, wander around the park, visit the museum and gallery or sit, watch, laugh and listen to the fabulous music throughout the day, and the best thing is, it's completely free to enter and any money raised on the day will be donated to Incredible Edible projects.

Incredible Edible Rossendale (IER) have a 2020 vision for self sufficiency in the towns of the Rossendale Valley. We aim to encourage residents to grow their own produce either on their own land, or, on community land tended by IER volunteers. We aim to educate everyone on the benefits of eating fresh food, and, introduce them to foods previously alien to them. We aim to offer locally produced foods through our shops thereby increasing business potential, and, supporting local trade

Over the years Harfest has gained a solid reputation for delivering a superb line up of music arranged by Hiapop and this years lineup is no different with live bands on the outdoor stage from 12.30pm to 5pm

As well as great music, there will be Artisan food stalls brought to you by the Clog Market and Arty Party Rossendale will be on hand to make sure the kids have plenty of crafty activities to get involved with, and if you are feeling particularly competitive why not enter our 'Make & Bake' competition.
