Film Night - Loving Vincent

Loving Vincent.jpg

Seven years in the making, Loving Vincent is a feature-length painted animation - the first film of its kind - which explores the life and death of Vincent Van Gogh via depictions of his artworks. Entirely hand-painted by a team of more than 100 specially-trained artists, this historical mystery is a breathtaking achievement. It is structured like an investigative crime drama using oil painting in the style of Vincent’s own work combined with live action material and computer-generated imagery to bring the paintings startlingly to animated life.
