Eat Theatre: The Cocktail Hour

The Cocktail Hour Neil Bell

Emma and Paul are on a date - but their deep seated fears and secrets are about to spill out all over the dinner table.

After a major role in Mike Leigh’s Peterloo and stand-out performances in Dead Man’s Shoes and 24-Hour Party People, alongside TV roles including Shameless and Peaky Blinders, Neil Bell writes and directs ‘The Cocktail Hour’, an innovative piece of immersive theatre that we are delighted to bring to the Whitaker.

This latest production, inspired by the ‘lunchtime theatre’ tradition of ‘70s and ‘80s Soho makes the candlelit restaurant both auditorium and stage.

Dinner is served… all that is left to do is enjoy the performance as it unfolds.

A brilliant piece of new theatre performed by Sue Wormersley, Phil Dennison and Neil Bell.

EAT THEATRE is a Manchester based theatre company founded by actor Neil Bell specialising in hard hitting modern theatre tailored to fit into restaurants and bars where people can eat while they watch.
