The much loved Rossendale 60s Festival returns to the Whitaker this year, and promises to be another great weekend full of family entertainment.
FRIDAY 6 SEPTEMBER // Doors open 6pm
The weekend kicks off early on the evening of Friday 6th with a classic screening of 60’s Film ‘Midnight Cowboy’. Dine prior to the film and enjoy music and a drink in the bar afterwards.
Food served from 6:30pm. Film starts at 7:30pm

SATURDAY 7 SEPTEMBER // from 1pm
The weekend starts here! Full of great entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.
Visit the ‘Pop up’ 60’s exhibition and picture gallery. Dine out on our super ‘Burger Bar’ Menu being served ALL weekend. There will be vintage stalls and kids activities, inside and out all set to the sounds of our amazing live bands playing in the courtyard from 1pm.

SUNDAY 8 SEPTEMBER // from 1pm onwards
Wind down the weekend with an eclectic mix of music and poetry, from and inspired by the 60s era. The house band will be playing in the courtyard, with a DJ in the museum ready to play your favourite 60’s LP no matter what your age.
We’ll be reading the Memory Cards along with other stories and there will be lots to entertain the little ones too! Bouncy Castle, Candy Floss, Milkshakes, we got it!.
